Criteria for Grants
Grants will be awarded in GFG’s sole discretion and judgment based upon GFG's unique award criteria to non-sectarian, non-political, non-religious, nonprofit California organizations whose mission, community programs and activities fall within GFG's chosen parameters, and who may be selected by GFG as its community charity partners.
Grants for Good Foundation will award a majority of grant funds in the Elder Needs sector to programs and nonprofit agencies in northern California that help elders make up gaps in their ability to afford safe residential housing and competent care-giving.  Grants in this sector will reach organizations not receiving money from the usual sources and as supplemental grants to make up gaps in funding to organizations experiencing cutbacks that curtail existing programs.

            Grants for Good Foundation will award a majority of grant funds in the Youth Needs sector to programs and nonprofit agencies in northern California that improve the lives and potentiality of children, teens and young adults. Grants in this sector will reach organizations not receiving money from the usual sources and as supplemental grants to make up gaps in funding to organizations experiencing cutbacks that curtail existing programs.

Grants for Good Foundation will award a majority of grant funds in the Homeless Needs sector to programs and nonprofit agencies in northern California that enable the homeless and downtrodden to gain a foothold in the community and become contributing members of society.  Grants in this sector will reach organizations not receiving money from the usual sources and as supplemental grants to make up gaps in funding to organizations experiencing cutbacks that curtail existing programs.
